For the record, I still don’t have a Vision Pro because money. I have had a demo where I was able to explore some of the accessibility features that would be relevant to me, but not all of them. My demo took twice as long as it would for someone without accessibility needs. Shout out to the staff at the Apple Store Renaissance in Jackson Mississippi. They have not seen the last of me.
That said, I still wasn’t able to say for certain how accessible the device was for someone with serious visual impairment. I was stuck waiting on reviews from people with that problem who also had the scratch to spring for one of their own. That has finally happened. What follows is a very popular and much respected blind YouTuber who did a great video on his experience so far. It focuses a lot on VoiceOver. I do not tend to use VoiceOver that much. But I found this video extremely helpful. And I suspect you will too. Expect more on Vision Pro accessibility as more knowledge becomes available. Enjoy:
